What is Frameless Glass Pool Fencing?
Frameless glass pool fencing features 1/2 inch thick tempered glass panels secured by small stainless steel spigots (posts) that are surface mounted to your deck or balcony. With no side posts or top rails, this fencing offers a sleek and elegant design, ensuring an unobstructed view of the pool area.
What Type of Glass do you Use?
Our frameless glass fences are made with 1/2″ tempered glass. This type of glass commonly utilized in situations where regular glass may present a safety risk. Tempered glass is four to times stronger than regular glass and shatters into blunt pieces instead of sharp shards if it breaks.
How Strong is Tempered Glass?
Tempered glass is four to five times stronger than the same thickness of regular glass. ClearVu only uses 1/2 inch tempered glass to provide optimal safety and security. Tempered glass is rated to withstand 800 pounds of pressure at its top edge, strong enough to withstand Florida's changing weather conditions.
How are spigots installed?
The spigots securing the glass are crafted from marine-grade polished stainless steel and are mounted typically on the surface with stainless steel hardware. They can also be side-mounted for wooden decks or concrete balconies.
